Join us for a bespoke culinary experience with Ilaria Bertinelli, Italian chef, cookbook author and TV personality from Parma, Italy.

 

Ilaria comes from a family of farmers, and producers of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. She has always been passionate about cooking, food and nutrition. It was coeliac disease and the onset of type 1 diabetes with their daughter Gaia at 6 years that marked the beginning of what she calls her "second life". She began cooking gluten free meals and in 2013, published her book "A chef for Gaia". Ilaria is a well known food blogger, and has also appeared on many TV cooking shows throughout Italy.

She will be joined by Quyen Ha, who was trained in pastry at Le Cordon Bleu.

Using fresh local ingredients that are in season, Ilaria and Quyen will take us on Parmesan cheese journey and teach us how to cook some of their favourite dishes, followed by lunch together.

The Menu:

  • Bruschetta with Parmigiano and traditional Balsamic Vinegar

  • Gnocchi served with Porcini mushroom sauce

  • Sbrisolona Cake

  • Bonus - wine tasting by Lyka Caparas
